Job Description: Responsible for overseeing quality control procedures and implementing policies as directed by senior management to ensure conformity with specifications and standards and is overall in-charge of all QC teams across engineering disciplines. Review and submit PQP (Project Quality Plan), procedures and Method Statements from across all engineering disciplines, ITP (Inspection Test Plan) etc.to the client. Review and facilitate approval of all subcontractor activities the same from the client. Monitor QC activities to check if activities are in line with the project specifications and as have been agreed with the client. Review the Daily Surveillance Reports submitted by QC Inspectors and also review and consolidate all QA/QC records as submitted by the QC Inspectors as a final dossier which needs to be submitted to the client for a final check and go ahead. Prepare weekly QC reports for review and validation by the Manager QC (Corporate) Facilitate meetings of subcontractors and Company on all matters pertaining to Quality Assurance and Control. Facilitate internal audits to check adherence with project schedule and specifications by Third Party in presence of the client. Supervise all QC activities through QC Inspectors and review the progress on a weekly basis through a Weekly Review meeting. Coordinates with other departments to close issues/problems identified and recorded in the NCR (Non Conformance Report). Reporting Role: Construction Manager
Requirements: ? A BSc in Engineering. Fluent in speaking, reading, writing in English. ? Experience in contacting QC activities at construction sites for a minimum of 10 years. ? Experience in developing/reviewing project quality plans, contract documents and project specifications. ? Previous experience with proved ability to ensure correct codes, standards, procedures and local regulations are properly identified, specified in detail and met. ? Experience in commissioning procedures/documentation . ? Experience in final hand over documentation preparation activities. ? Experience in EPC projects is a plus. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for a small team of inspectors covering all activities at the project site. Provides inspection and quality control services for the project site. Implements a long term preventive inspection programme for all equipments and work activities, which includes regular internal and external inspections. Maintains update data on the Quality Control status and issues/problems and produces inspection reports for each item. Conducts audit on production work process and procedures to achieve quality goals. Works closely with all engineering disciplines to develop corrective procedures and analyze results and findings of all inspection activity.
